Anatomy Study

Anatomy Study done during a life-drawing session in Miramar, Wellington, NZ. These sessions were so awesome to go to - the Miramar Art Club hosts their life-drawing sessions quite often, and a lot of the people who go to them work at Weta Workshops. And before you ask, yes, we DID listen to the LotR Soundtrack during some of our sessions!

This work in particular was pretty fun for me. I had been to quite a number of the life drawing sessions - and was ready to challenge myself with something more. We had 40 minutes for this pose, and so I drew the features from the skeleton out - adding muscles over the bones and working to create the figure you see here.
