Ursula

This is a costume I designed and created. Mostly because I could.

The buttocks are individually articulated - so when she walks, she has the same sway that Ursula has in the cartoon. The belly is hollow and allows for squash and stretch with movement, and each tentacle is individually designed and articulated to move horizontally and vertically with the motion of the wearer's knees. And yes. She can twerk.

A huge thank you goes out to the people who helped me with this project - at the time, I could not do this alone.

First to Mandye Bronson at Sutro Hair Salon for their absolutely amazing job of helping me to style my wig. It held up super well and looked spectacular.

Christina Rapacz for her amazing work on applying the makeup for Ursula. I couldn't have pulled this off even 1/10th as well without her.
